	HIV/AIDS Outreach Initiative Grants support building the evidence base for innovative HIV/AIDS programs that meet the health needs of minority communities in Arkansas. The health focus for the 2010 grants is human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) within racial and ethnic minority communities in Arkansas. This health focus was selected because minority Arkansans suffer from a high rate of this life threatening disease.
